The High Magnetic Field Collaboratory
The High Magnetic Field Collaboratory
Collaborative research organization of Japanese high magnetic field facilities
The High Magnetic Field Collaboratory is the collaborative research organization of Japanese high magnetic field facilities: International MegaGauss Science Laboratory (IMGSL) at the Institute for Solid State Physics (ISSP) in the University of Tokyo, Center for Advanced High Magnetic Field Science (AHMF) at the Graduate School of Science in Osaka University, and the High Field Laboratory for Superconducting Materials (HFLSM) at the Institute for Materials Research (IMR) in Tohoku University. We provide opportunities for borderless experiments in the various magnetic field ranges up to 1,200 T by combining steady and pulsed magnetic fields.
